WCT Weekend Schedule:

The WCT tournament format was created in 2005 by professional player Sunny Hale. As the highest rated female polo player in the world, Sunny has traveled throughout the world playing polo and in 2000 became the first woman in history to win the prestigious US Open as well as being a 7 time winner of Woman Player of the Year. With women players representing one of the largest growing sectors of polo today, her vision was to increase the level of women's polo competition played in the United States as well as to showcase the skill level and accomplishments that women in the sport have achieved worldwide.

In the sport of football there is the Super Bowl, in baseball the World Series, in high goal polo there is the US Open and now in the sport of women's polo the WCT FINALS has set the standard as the premiere women's polo event in the United States, where the best players in the world come to compete for the annual championship title. With women players representing one of the largest growing sectors of polo today it comes as no surprise the enthusiasm and following the WCT has attracted.   Prestonwood Polo & Country Club is pleased to host the first WCT tournament in North Texas.
