The
11th Annual Polo on The Lawn is Saturday, May 5 at
Prestonwood Polo Club in Oak Point, Texas.
It's a Cinco de Mayo themed event with the
 Kentucky Derby
live simulcast and a fun-filled afternoon of polo
with fast-paced action, thoroughbred horses,
champagne divot stomp and side-line socializing. The
event goal is to introduce the public to the sport
of kings while raising much-needed funds and
awareness for Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer (WOKC), a
 Dallas-based non-profit organization that raises
funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research
and provides hope and support to families affected
by cancer. Live DJ, Dale Anderson,
Anderson Design, fabulous silent auction items,
“Best Dressed” prizes are awarded for: Lady,
Gentleman, Couple and Child, as well as Best Picnic
and Best Tailgater. General admission tickets
are $45, kids 12 and under free. Sponsorships
available-include table for 10 in private VIP
pavilion where the Derby will be simulcast, VIP
dinner by Applebee’s, wine and beer, and exclusive
