Up to 87 teams compete in the USPA Interscholastic Polo Tournaments at the High School level throughout the U.S. and 30 colleges in the US have polo teams competing at the Intercollegiate level, with some even offering Polo Scholarships.
The USPA (United States Polo Association) has initiated a new program, called Team USA, to address the demand for more American high goal polo players. College players are among some of the best upcoming players in the world and can go on to try-out for the Team USA Program. Start by being the first Interscholastic Polo Team at your high school! Now is the time to get your child ready!  SMU Alumni have generously sponsored a brand new Polo Arena at Prestonwood Polo club in anticipation of a future polo team.
