The first ever Women's
Championship Tournament (WCT) in North Texas was played
at Prestonwood Polo Club Oct 1-3 and the LPA team
(Ladies Polo Auxiliary) of Kim Snider, Danielle Travis,
Sunny Hale and Carrie Spence defeated the Pro Chukker
team 7-6 in a very exciting and fast game. The WCT
weekend event was kicked-off with a gala fashion show
and calcutta at Prestonwood Country Club's Dallas
location on Thursday night; followed by a the
first-round of games Friday. Sunny Hale, the
highest-rated female polo player in the world, conducted
a women's polo clinic Saturday morning and the finals
and consolation were played in front of a large crowd
Saturday nite. It started raining in the 3rd
chukker and the girls toughed it out and finished the
game much to the crowd's amazement. Photos
