MARCH 1, 2011 --OAK POINT, TEXAS--Presontowood Polo Club
has announced that the
2011 Schedule, the Dallas
spring polo
season will open Saturday April 30 and continue every
Saturday through July 9, still only $10 a car except for
special events. We are blessed at Prestonwood to
have something unique to polo clubs, the Ladies Polo
Auxiliary of Texas! We extend a warm welcome and
deep appreciation to this group of women dedicated to
the promotion and support for our passion, the Sport of
Kings and are pleased to host the many charitable and
social events that they produce throughout the polo
season, and honored that they call Prestonwood Polo and
Country Club, “Home”. A Grandstand box has been named
the LPA Box in their honor.
 April
16- LPA kicks off the Spring season at Neiman-Marcus
Willow Bend with a luncheon hosted by National Fashion
Director Roopah Patel. The inaugural LPA Roast
will honor Vinnie Meyer of Texas Polo. Anyone with “fun” Vinnie
stories and would like to participate is invited to

location and date TBD. New club sponsors will
be announced, Dr. Jeffery Adelglass and wife Barbara
will be honored for their philanthropic deeds, including
support of Polo on the Midway for Bryan’s House in the
events early years. The weekend use of a Jaguar FX
raffle will be drawn that night. Tickets are on sale now
through any LPA member. Raffle tickets- $20 each,
3 for $50 or 6 for $100.
May 5- invitation only US Trust sponsored event with
Yvonne O’crant, the countries leading Equine attorney,
at Prestonwood Country Club Hills.

7- 10th annual Polo on the Lawn benefiting Family
Gateway, a Kentucky Derby themed event features Derby
simulcast, Miss Texas sings the national anthem and
signs photos, live music, fabulous silent auction items,
Henry S. Miller Cup. “Best” contests and more! General
admission tickets are $45, kids under 12 free..
Sponsorships available-include table for 10 in private
VIP pavilion where the Derby will be simulcast, dinner
by Applebee’s, Wild Turkey Mint Juleps, Skyy Dragonfruit
cosmos, wine and beer with exclusive gift bags for

May 14- Texas A & M “women’s polo team “Bikini Polo
Match” fundraiser with live music, yes, Bikini polo,
barbecue and fun! For sponsor opps email Amanda Massey

4- 3rd annual Polo For the Planet. Last years event got
