Dallas, Texas -- Las Colinas Polo Club – The Polo Season in Dallas opened April 30 with “Polo on The Lawn” a 12 Goal charity match for the USPA Sanctioned Henry S. Miller Cup at the Las Colinas Capital One Championship Field. The event, Co-Charied by Dena Miller, drew record crowds and raised over $48,000 for The Family Place, an organization that has assisted families of domestic violence in the Dallas area for 28 years.

Henry S. Miller and Intergame played the match on two-thirds of the field due to over irrigating and rain the night before, making it a long and narrow one. A bit different, but polo was played nonetheless and a good game it was. Henry S. Miller won the match 7-5, after several close calls. The Henry S. Miller team included: Vaughn Miller (patron), Pelon Escapite, Will Tankard and Billy Mudra; the Intergame was: Sophie Gleeson (patron), Oscar Bermudez, Gabriel Gracida and Jorge Rodriguez. There were no losers, however. The Dallas season’s 1st major tournament, the Catena Cup 12 Goal, has started with 6 teams entered. That will be followed by the 12 Goal USPA Intra-Circuit, June The games run from May 18-28 and will be played at Las Colinas Polo Club in Dallas and in Oak Point, Texas.
